Antony Harrison celebrates 25 years as an Australian lawyer

6 October 2023

Mahoneys would like to congratulate Antony Harrison on achieving a significant professional milestone – 25 years as an Australian lawyer.

Antony was admitted as a solicitor in Queensland in 1998 and to the Australian High Court in 2000.

Having studied commerce (accounting) and law, Antony quickly established himself as a trusted advisor to a range of clients – including high-net-worth individuals, small to medium-sized enterprises, and large national corporations.

His unwavering commitment to helping his clients achieve their legal and commercial outcomes has seen him act on some notable corporate transactions – including the share sale of a renewable energy project company that intends on developing a $ 1 billion solar farm; corporate governance review for a national public medical company; licensing critical US cyber security technology into Australia; share sale of significant data and cyber security company; the sale of Daydream Island; the development and sale of the Logan Mega Centre site; and the sale of Queensland’s largest Mercedes dealership.

Joining the firm 20 years ago, Antony also played a significant role in establishing the foundations for what we know today as Mahoneys.

A partner since 2006, Antony also leads Mahoneys’ dedicated corporate/commercial law group – an experienced team of lawyers who specialise in commercial and corporate law; commercial property; personal and corporate structuring; estate and succession planning.  He has a particular focus on looking after medical practitioners and is a regular presenter for private hospitals and the Royal College of Physicians.
