Starting a Private Practice

11 August 2021

Mahoneys partner  Antony Harrison presented as part of The Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) webinar focusing on the benefits, challenges and strategies of joining colleagues to form a group practice.

Antony, who was joined by other industry experts, specifically covered the legal considerations and strategies when creating a group practice – including entering into shareholder and other services agreements, occupying commercial premises, and how to avoid disputes.

It was an impressive event with over 250 doctors and medical specialists registering to be part of the webinar.

A copy of the webinar, titled “Starting a Group Private Practice with Colleagues”, can be found on RACP’s past event presentations page – Link.

A big thank you to The Royal Australasian College of Physicians and The Professional Medical Practice for arranging this important webinar. A special thank you to Tracey Handley and Amity Kruger from the RACP and Carolin Lopez from PMP for their personal efforts in making the webinar such a success.

In the meantime please feel free contact Antony if you have any questions about setting up or creating a private practice.
